The HX2040 Microphone The slim conical design and perfectly distributed weight of the HX2040 delivers an incredibly comfortable fit in the hand, while a unique gel-based suspension system minimizes handling noise. The HX2040 uses a high quality Schoeps™ condenser capsule, which is interchangeable with 14 other Schoeps™ capsules. Schoeps™ condenser capsules are widely recognized as the best on the market. The HX2040 runs up to six hours on a single AA 1.5v battery and up to twice that with a Lithium battery. The microphone has 32 pre-programmed frequencies with up to 24MHz switching bandwidth. Audio Ltd.’s unique infrared remote control interface allows settings to be checked and changed using the SwitchiR (or AudiR application for Palm PDAs). The HX2040 is still very competitively priced for a high quality, advanced specification transmitter when compared with other professional handheld transmitters on the market.
